The BLASI story

Founded in 1972 by Peter Blasi, BLASI GmbH rapidly developed into one of the most innovative companies within the industry. Just one year after the company was founded, Peter Blasi was ready to mass-manufacture the first automatic door from an aluminum header profile. As a result, an opening width of 6 meters could be realized for the very first time. Further innovations such as the first completely electronic door actuator, the first V-shaped and semi-circular sliding doors, the extension of linear sliding doors into variable communication systems and many more were to follow.

New ideas were continuously checked for feasibility and subsequently incorporated into mass production.

BLASI joined ASSA ABLOY with the acquisition of agta Record Group in 2020. These high-quality, custom door systems are highly revered by architects and were a natural extension of the rest of the automatic door systems that we offer.
